Where is this service located?

Our face to face services are for people based in, or willing to travel to South East Queensland, Australia.

If you have already chosen a psychedelic assisted therapy provider in a town near you, we may be able to work with you completely online. Please contact us to see how we can make this work for you.

02

Why isn't accommodation included?

You may have a vacant apartment nearby, lots of 'points' to use on your credit card, refuse to sleep in anything less than a 5-star bed, be content in a modest room, or be working with me from afar. This is why we work out the accommodation when you book in, as it suits your needs.

Is Psychedelic Assisted Therapy safe?

Psychedelic assisted therapy has been studied for over 60 years, and intensively studied for the past 20 years. The studies coming out of top universities like Harvard and Standford show the therapy to be safe and effective for most people. Please look at our 'Research' section to read some of these studies.

You should not undergo psychedelic assisted therapy if you have a diagnosis or family history of schizophrenia, are on SSRI medication, or are using heart medication. Click here for a list of deeper suggested contraindications.

You should check with your G.P before undertaking any psychedelic medication or therapy to ensure it's right for you. Please look at our Research section for more details and our Disclaimer, at the bottom of this page.

Properly trained facilitators have around 700 hours of training in this methodology. You should ensure your chosen facilitator has a safety management plan and won’t hesitate to call an ambulance if this is required. (Though this need would be exceptionally rare).

How is psychedelic assisted therapy different from taking these drugs recreationally?

When you take any drug recreationally, you are usually out to 'escape' or 'have a good time'. You don't set intentions, or take the drugs in a well thought out safe place. You don't normally have someone watching over you. You certainly aren't expecting to have epiphanies about your life or heal. Sometimes magic will happen and your life will change in extraordinary ways, but this is not the norm.

Psychedelic drugs are very powerful tools. Taking them recreationally versus in a therapeutic setting is like being given a Formula One car and being left to drive it on the street with no training, versus driving it around a track with an instructor helping you one on one.

In a psychedelic assisted therapy setting you are working with one or two facilitators who have trained for hundreds of hours. The space is well thought out and allows your sub-conscious to feel safe. You go into the session with a well thought out intention. Your facilitators hold space for you for around 5 hours - something no one has ever done for you in your life, no matter how loving your relationships. The facilitators work with you to get to the core of your being to find out what makes you, you; and where you need to find new insights and understanding about your behaviour and reactions to events in life. This is the power that brings about your personal growth, healing and lasting change.
